Niki is a professionally trained artist with a double major in Studio Art and Art History from Concordia University in Montreal.
After graduating University, Niki struggled to find a job in the art world. She was forced to seek employment in financial services, and worked for 4 years in misery.
Niki was determined to get her creativity back. She began painting something everyday for a full year in addition to her regular full time job. That year was an explosion of creativity. At the end of the year, Niki knew she had to do this full time. She left her finance job in December 2016 and hasn’t looked back since.
Niki now works from her home studio in Carlisle, ON. Niki and her husband, Jordan, also own and operate The Carlisle Cider Co. as well as Lost Vineyards, a winery based in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
